Honestly, I haven't really remarked on any changes in volume in the sections I have listened to. That being said, I have been using my laptop speakers rather than headphones. I listened over the parts in section 2 that were pointed out and they didn't particularly detract from the clarity of the recording in my opinion. That being said, for the parts that I listen to going forward I will try and use headphones to make sure that I do not notice anything.

I plan on PLing another section today, I'll let you know what I think.

note that some of those are marked as 'spot check' instead of ready for proof listening, so basically, I edited the parts advised in section 2,3,9,and 10

Thank you for bringing it to my attention that those sections are ready for spot check, I will spot check them tomorrow.

Meanwhile, I listened to section 4 (chapter 10). My PL notes are as follows:

6:43 I noticed a couple seconds of scuffing background noise.
11:21 seems a bit louder than preceding sentences.
12:26 I noticed a bit of a background noise
15:54 I hear "in case" text reads "againe" p67
16:08 I hear "paper" text reads "taper" p67
51:02 I hear "cotton ribbon" text reads "red ribbon" p85
56:23 The sentence "The May Queen is common in France and familiar in England." p 87 after is skipped.
59:40 I hear "swallowed" text reads "swarmed." p89

Below are my PL notes for Section 6:

17:16 I hear "many-beast" text reads "many-breasted" p128

And in the end there is around 8 seconds of silence instead of around 5.

Other than that, it is great!

13:46 I hear "arrived" text says "varied" p162 (I am not sure if this changes the meaning of the sentence though)

21:29-21:37 I hear a slight background noise.

13:21 I hear "at everything" text reads "at evening" p214

Section 5 (ch11) PL notes

33:42 there is a couple seconds of background noise. It is not that intense, but I noticed it while listening.

Other than that, all good! I think I will actually go over the PL spot sections tomorrow.

I have gone over the PL spot sections. (except for one, which I will do later today). I did notice that the edit sections were louder than the previous recordings, because of the different recording set ups. I marked those sections as PL ok, since even though the edit sections were louder they still were clear. Overall good job!
