You left out the word "must" which slightly changes the meaning, but not enough to worry about:
"A good many of them must just stay plain angels, I expect."

Since I don't have any other notes, I'll just mark this as PL OK. Please let me know if you want to correct it.

I loved the story about the stars! Nicely told! :clap:

I was excited to see some spots open up for this project. May I read Neil Campbell? I think it would be fun to try a Scottish accent.
