I remember it well. A group of us drove down to San Francisco for spring break that year, and Haight-Ashbury was in all its glory. How quickly the the love faded and the psychedelic haze evaporated.
I think we are the same generation, Larry. '67 was the year I left college and first went to work in London. The whole hippy and flower power thing had just reached England so it was a memorable summer. I made it to San Fran 3 years later. 😺
