I'm a big fan of Shakespeare, and I find the idea of reading fake Shakespeare to be delightful! If possible, could I read for the part of Uter Pendragon?
Here is Lucina (the name reference took me a while... )

I was not sure whether the first part right after her entrance was spoken by her or the devil. That's why I included it, but it's easy to cut out since she only has one other line later.

Thank you both.
(We also have a Shakespeare Monologue collection underway if you want "real" Shakespeare.)
Thanks, Todd
Welcome to Librivox. I will hold the part for you while the test file is reviewed for proper settings. Please let me know when it is okayed.JBerkhouse wrote: ↑August 2nd, 2020, 11:48 am I'm a big fan of Shakespeare, and I find the idea of reading fake Shakespeare to be delightful! it's a bit disturbing to think that this newborn child is already fully grown up a very strange part of the plot. You make your Merlin a bit cheeky and full of himself, which is probably very accurate for this character (at least he loves his mom)alanmapstone wrote: ↑August 1st, 2020, 8:25 amMerlin act 3

Well done, and PL ok so far. Thank you, Alan !
Sonia
good question...I think it's the Devil giving instructions in the beginning, but it could just as well be Lucina. Let's leave it in and Todd can decide in the end In any case, both speeches are perfectly delivered and flawlessly PL ok. Thank you so much. Pity she didn't have a longer role.Availle wrote: ↑August 2nd, 2020, 6:02 pm Here is Lucina (the name reference took me a while... )

only your volume is barely 83 dB, I'll make a note for Todd to amplify before editing.
Thanks

This looks like fun! Mind if I take on Donobert for Act I? I can probably do the rest of the acts as well, but this will be my first reading here so I don't want to overcommit upfront.
