Section 16 is PL OK! Great job! You're almost halfway done with this whole book
Thank you! You're right, almost at the halfway point! And the book is also about to get really fun--not that "holy places" in the Near East are boring, but the second half of the book is the reason it's so famous, what with all the exotic stories of curious beast and people with faces on their torso and such. I'll get to work on Section 17 soon! I'm having so much fun on Librivox that I have almost overextended myself. I'm going to need to refocus!

Overextending oneself is one of the known dangers around here -- I think pretty much all of us are susceptible!

Thank you, Kathrine!

I had the best intentions of working on Chapter 18 and 19 yesterday, but experienced a catastrophic failure of my air conditioner. Hopefully, this will get resolved soon.

Kathrine -

I seem to have lost access to the BC/MC window. This coincided with an upgrade to my OS, and for awhile I couldn't even log back into the forum. I was just now about to add this Chapter 21 to the MW, and I've been receiving an error saying that both my password is incorrect and that my "passwords have been locked" (?). I may have tried to log in too many times.

Do you know how I can go about remedying this and getting back into the MW? I have a separate project too that I assume I'm locked out of. Yesterday I asked the forum of there were periodic password resets and Availle answered my post, and indicated that I have 3 separate accounts (the one for the forum and the one for the BC/MW, and the one that is the shared account for uploading). Maybe something has gone awry with one of my accounts?

In the meantime, here is Chapter 21: https://librivox.org/uploads/kathrinee/travelsofsirjohn_21_mandeville_128kb.mp3

Thank you! I'll put this one in the MW for now, and investigate regarding how to get back in there. I don't know the answer, so it will take me a day or two or three, I suspect :)

ETA: Just checking: did you try clicking the Forgot password link on the page where you try to log in to the MW? It is not a button, just a blue link above the blue Login button. If so, what did it tell you? (Was that when it said that it had been locked?)

Kathrine -

This is weird. I think your advice may have worked. I was able to get into the MW again by forgetting my Forum ID and logging in with the same User Name but with the old password that I used.

I'm not sure how these things work.
