Hello!
I could take care of Augusto if he's still open!
Thanks!

Thank you. And please pay attention to your dad! (No one else does...) We have honor to uphold!

this dad is a total conman ! seriously...honour ? stealing figs from the neighbour is honourable ? conning a woman out of her money ? selling off the son into a loveless marriage ? tststs...not your most brilliant moments. But you portray the sleezeback quite convincingly (now I'm a bit worried). Excellently done, and totally PL ok.
thanks
Sonia
Just a quick heads-up: I have recorded Madame Pepita in all her one-hour glory but it will take a bit for the editing.
Cheers, Ava.

Thought you might like some stage directions to PL.

Todd, as requested in your initial post, I’ve read the dates for the translator, “(1876 - 1946)”, but you might want to cut those if you think it sounds odd to include the translator’s dates but not the author’s dates.

Thank you.
I think the idea is that if there is a translator, their dates will drive the PD status of something.

That's true, at least outside the US.
thank you, Michael, this was a huge job again what a play, and the author is almost as eloquent in the stage directions as Pinero (only almost though).MichaelMaggs wrote: ↑July 29th, 2020, 7:25 amThought you might like some stage directions to PL.

Act 1 is straight PL ok, but I have a few small notes for the other acts:
Act 2:
> at 14:15: (p. 207) "Don Guillermo to Madame Pepita..." - we need to add the name here again, as Catalina was going out in the previous comment
Act 3:
> at 14:07: (p. 237) "Catalina and Alberto in unison" - actually such notes can be left out, as Todd will simply merge the voices
> at 15:22: (p. 239) "Don Guillermo pacing up and down..." - you forgot to say the name
thanks ! brilliant job, considering how long it was.

I'm sure my Spanish accent is amusing at best but I had fun with it and that's all that matters right?
