Oh! Thanks for pointing that out.julianpratley wrote: ↑July 28th, 2020, 4:59 pmAlso Twinkle, the file name in the MW is wrong for chapter 6.
Thank you!GilmoreDon wrote: ↑July 29th, 2020, 9:28 am Hi,
Here is the Mr. Randall line from Chapter 10. I'm using some new equipment and haven't done this for a while so I hope everything is OK. The file is 17.6 sec long.

It does look like there are a few technical discrepancies in your recording:
- The bit rate needs to be 128 kbps.
- The recording should use a constant bit rate rather than a variable bit rate.
- The volume (--94.7 dB--) falls outside the target range of 86-92 dB.
Also, a PL note:
@ 0:09 Mispronounced name: “I wish, Aurelia, that you cared a little about your appearance and your dress; it goes a long way with a man like me.”
(I'm looking for a pronunciation like "ore-REEL-yah" instead of "ore-RILL-ah." Example audio is in the Pronunciation Guide.)

Go for it! Thanks!
PL notes for Elisha Chronicle Seven:
(I was thinking you completely re-did this chronicle, so I PL'ed it as though it were a new file.)
@ 3:34 Repeat: "You're my truly cow now, ain't you, Buttercup?"
.
@ 2:59 Please insert 3-5 seconds of silence between these two lines: "Yes." "I mean yes, sir."
.
@ 1:52 Mispronounced name: "He's off to Acreville now, but he'll be home tonight, and father's going to send my new hat by him."
(I'm looking for a pronunciation like "AY-kehr-vihl," where the "A" in "Acreville" sounds like the long "a" in "day." Sorry, I hadn't yet gotten in example audio for "Acreville" in the Pronunciation Guide, but I'll do it as soon as I get a chance!)
.
@ 1:32 Missing line: 'we;'
.
@ 0:23 Missing line: "Yes; me, too. Don't let's think about it. Do they hook people so very often?"
Great job!

Hi,
Here is the corrected version of Mr. Randall's line. I had to lookup how to change the setting and I think I did it correctly. If the tech stuff is ok, I start re-doing Abner's lines with the correct settings.

Have a great day and stay healthy out there.
