(Complete) Encyclical Letters of Pope Benedict XV - m8b1
Thank you so much Maria,
Michael has been so kind to send me a feedback about my 1minute test and he has told me how to apply a few adjustments.
I'll be very happy to use my real name: Valeria De Felice.
Furthermore I have seen that you are also looking fo readers for St Gerardo Maiella biography. In case you think the recording of Chapter 2 of Encyclicae is ok, I'd be enourmously pleased to try and read a few chapters of St Gerardo Maiella biography, too. He is a Redemptorist Saint and I belong to the Redemptorist Parish of St Alfonso in Pagani, so it would be a great honour for me to contribute to the recording of this book. In the past few years I also have been a delegation leader for the Redemptorists youth meetings in Limerick and Lviv.
I feel very happy to start my Librivox experience with you.
All the best,
Valery

This is the link to the recording of the second chapter of the Encyclical letter by Pope Benedict XV: https://librivox.org/uploads/m8b1/encyclicals_02_benedictxv_128kb.mp3
I'm available for any corrections or further suggestions.
Bye for now,
Valery

Hi,
Welcome to LibriVox! I've signed you up for section 6, but I just want to warn you that it is a very long section for a new reader to undertake. It will probably run around an hour - after editing. If you would like to start with something shorter instead, don't hesitate to let me know.
Please read the first post of this thread carefully.
Please let me know under which name or pseudonym you'd like to appear in the LibriVox catalogue. We can also link to a personal web site/blog.
Also, since this is your first recording, we ask that you send in a 1-minute test recording. This is not an audition, it's just to make sure the sound quality and the recording settings are all right - often things can be improved at the outset that are difficult to fix later. Please go to https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test to find out what to record for your 1-minute test, and how to upload the recording. In the LibriVox Uploader, please select 'tests - tests' from the MC drop-down, and then post your test recording in the Listeners Wanted forum, rather than in this thread - you'll get feedback more quickly there.
Please make sure you get an okay on your test before starting any other section - it saves a lot of headache in the long run.
Thanks and have fun!
