Well read! Thank you very much. :)

I suggest working at these from the back forward. That way any changes you make don't affect the time stamps of the other PL notes. :)

0:00 - need to say "Section 58 of" before "Mussolini as revealed in his political speeches". (So it should be "section 58 of Mussolini as revealed in his political speeches. This is a Librivox recording....")

7:30 - stumble and repeat: "but in reality, it was only a sm... it was only a very small"

7:40 - for you information for future recordings, "gaol" is pronounced the same as "Jail". (It's an older English spelling of the same word. I'm surprised it's in this book spelled that way!) It's a common mistake. :) You don't need to fix this unless you want to.

11:43 - stumble/repeat: "Finzi, with a silver medal and two ... and two croci di guerra."

16:45 - repeat: "How is it possible," he said, "how can it be expected" he said, "how can it be expected..." (need to cut out one "he said" and one "how can it be expected"

25:57 - "550,000 members" - I hear "fifty five hundred thousand members" (which would be 5,500,000, I think). Should be "five hundred fifty thousand members"

26:02 - "150,000" I hear "fifteen hundred thousand" - should be "one hundred fifty thousand"

26:49-27:18 - there are a lot of skips / very abrupt starts of words in this portion. Would you be willing to re-record this portion?

29:12 - repeat of fairly long sentence: "If you are a socialist you must remain such...in that profession" (repeated at 29:21)

While you're in the file, the volume is a little high. Please amplify by -(minus)4 dB. :)

From about 10:00 to 18:30 or so, there is an electrical interference sound, more or less severe at times. I don't know what's causing it, but you'll want to watch out for it in future and try to keep it out of the recordings.

He is content simply to be a minister? Yeah, right...

AH I'm so sorry this is happening for the second time, the changes I made after editing haven't been saved by audacity. Very annoying really, I'll make the necessary changes and upload the audio in a few hours. I'm sorry about the problems.

Strange!

I export my in-progress files as type FLAC. It's lossless (doesn't lose quality) and a relatively small file.

Hi
Here is section 58 (sorry for messing it up but at least I didn't mess it up like Mussolini messed up Italy). The audio's duration is 34:04.
