Hi SpeakeasyBea. I've signed you up for section 2 of this book.

As this will be your first recording for Librivox, please have a look at the NewbieGuideToRecording and also read carefully through all the notes in the first post of this thread if you haven't already done so.

We also highly recommend that you send in a short test recording to check that all the technical requirements are good before recording a full chapter.

http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test

I've also added you as a reader to the database. You can see this on your catalog page at http://librivox.org/reader/14654

If you click on the link for Reader Section Details below your username you will find a summary table showing the status of all the sections that you have signed up to read in open projects.  Click on any of the thread titles in this list to navigate to the thread on the forum.

Thanks and welcome to Librivox. :)

Thanks, Jo!

I'm looking through it all now. Looks like a ton of good info and guides for setting up.

Hi Lynda,

I'm glad you are enjoying these. I will sign you up for these, but for future issues, please note that since these are very popular and fill up quickly, along with the 1 month deadline, I am asking readers to limit their claims to 3 sections at a time to give more readers a chance to participate. :) I did add this request to the first post, but you probably didn't notice it.

Here's a bit of birdsong to brighten your day, even though it's only 8:03 long
