 wow, nearly one hour long ! And a very suspenseful story, extremely interesting to listen to. Also wonderfully read and nearly word-perfect. Excellent job for such a long story. And thank you so much, April, for the fast turn-around. :9: I appreciate.

I found only a few things to amend:

> at 0:37: "by A. Maurice Low" - you forgot the initial "A" (I wouldn't have mentioned this if it had been the only error  )

> at 29:57: (p. 32) missed sentence: "It was one of my most interesting jobs."

> there is an annoying beep-noise in the background, it starts at about 2 minutes in and near till the end. I would suggest you use a sample between 2:11 and 2:12 and use Audacity's noise-reduction once, then it will be much better

And that's it, the rest is perfect. Thank you so much

thank you, April, and wow the noise-cleaning went really well, it's all gone now !!! perfect and PL ok now. That means we can now archive. :9:

Thank you all for your great contributions: Alan, April, Julie, Nemo (oh and me as well this time  )

I'll post the link once it's done.

Oh yes, as always, I made a short teaser for each story, so I hope you like them this time:
Eleanor Stevens' will: a rich woman's final will creates a stir among fortune hunters
To let: midnight screams scare away new residents in a cottage with a terrible history
Of course - Of course not: sometimes an unexpected visit on a quiet evening at home can turn out life-changing
The Marchburn mystery: was the mysterious stranger in the elevator really the killer of Mr Marchburn ?
Their colonial villa: a young wife thinks she is losing her mind after her husband made new housing arrangements
