Hi Simone! Yes, I would suggest applying the noise reduction, but the final decision is yours. You can try it, and if you like the noise-cleaned version better, go ahead and upload your updated recording. If you don't like it better (since noise reduction doesn't work with all kinds of noises so it might not give good results) we will keep the first version

Thank you, Mike, Larry, Edmond, Daniel and Andrew!
Edmond, Welcome to the Poetry Collection! I think your pronunciation of Lochanilaun fits just fine!
Daniel, the phrase "This recording is in the public domain" is missing from the outro of your files. And yes indeed it's the same Rumi

I added that to the outro of both and reuploaded them!

Not all his work is in the public domain. It depends on when the poems were first published. To be in the public domain now, it needs to have been published before 1925. Did you have a particular poem in mind?

Thank you, Winston and Fritz!
Just one PL note for "To Jake", Winston, as it is missing the "End of poem" phrase.
My favourite pastime is staying at home and eating (while listening to Librivox recordings) I was just listening to the poems while eating cake with tea

Yes I was thinking about "I carry your heart with me". I checked online and in few blog posts they said it was public domain but it's a little confusing to figured out whether it really is.

I'm afraid "I carry your heart with me" is copyrighted 1952, so we won't be able to include it in a Librivox collection.
Hello! I would like to contribute. This is my very first contribution on this platform. I would like name to appear as Hiranmayi.

Thank you, Hiranmayi, and an official Welcome to the Poetry Collection
Since this is your first Librivox recording, I also checked the tech specs, and they are correct with nice volume! My only comment is about the background noise, it is not disturbing, but you can try Noise Reduction to see if it gets any better to your ears: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Noisecleaning_With_Pics#Clean_up_the_Noise:_Audacity_versions_from_2.1.0
Regardless, the reading is beautiful, and the poem is sweet and encouraging.
Here is your Librivox Reader Page https://librivox.org/reader/14665 It lists all projects you read for, so it may look a bit empty now, but if you enjoy recording, you'll gradually fill it up!
If you try Noise reduction and you like the result, feel free to upload your new file. Otherwise we can still use this one! Thank you for offering it!
