Section 10 PL notes:
Too much silence at end; 5 seconds will suffice (currently 11.4 seconds)
Volume is too high, 87-91 dB acceptable (currently 95.3 dB) - you'll need to de-amplify the file by -6.3 using Effect > Amplify in Audacity

Section 11 PL notes:
Missing "End of Section 11" at end
Too much silence at end; 5 seconds will suffice (currently 7.4 seconds)
Volume OK

Once you have made the above changes, re-upload using the same file names. Post in this thread when you have uploaded the edited files and include the new file durations. Wonderful reading, Elena!
Here is Section 10 again, after notes: https://librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/essaysonart_10_goethe_128kb.mp3

Length = 10:35

Can I read section 54 (Uncle)?
There seem to be some lines for a character called Julia but no section for her.

hi arden,

welcome to librivox :-D
and welcome to goethe on art!

i assign these two setctions to you - but first, we need you to do two things:

1. please submit a 1 minute test recording in our "listeners wanted" subforum and wait for a pl ok.
it is a procedure to learn about our tech specs and uploading procedures.
please, don't hesitate to ask in case something is not clear or you need any help :-)
our wiki page may be helpful: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test and offers links to video tutorials, textlinks, and much more!

2. please tell me the name under which you want to be listed in our cataogue.
that can be your forumname, your real name, or anything you want to.
your catalogue page will list every section you claimed, you can look up the status of pl, and so on - it's a clever little tool, too!
we can publish a link to your homepage, blog or anything on your catalogue page. if you have something like this, please tell me the link, also.
--> i need your catalogue name with exact punctuation, please!

thank you and cheers,
wolfi

hi wolfi,

I've finished my test and hope you like the results.

https://librivox.org/uploads/tests/test_arden.mp3

I'd like my catalogue name to be my forum name as it is.

cheers for the help!
