The meaning of these obscure words is:

Sesquipedalian: Long and ponderous; having many syllables.

Triskaidekaphobia: Fear of friday the thirteenth

Don't think I will really use these in a real sentence but it is fun.

Surprisingly, those are nothing compared to this stunner: pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis. It is the longest word in the dictionary that I know of. It is a lung disease caused by inhaling underground dust and is common in miners.
P.S: is this the long-and-weird-but-wonderful-words thread?

It's a fate of humanity, I suppose, to be ultracrepidarian-ish at times. :D
