Hi,

I would like to know why sometimes there is an error message when I try to upload my recording; I finished the poetry but when I am in the upload page there is a message: syntax error unexpected token in JSON at position 0.
So I cannot send you my text.
Let's give Peace a chance.

The Mind's Eye

https://librivox.org/uploads/aradlaw/mindseye_clarke_dbg_128kb.mp3

run time 2:52

May sound choppy/brittle as, in order to meet the parameters, had to do some Serious Amplification.

Good reading Deborah, the quality sounds fine, alas the 'Serious Amplification' fell short as the volume is 86.1 dB, you should aim for your waveforms to peak near the 0.5 mark, like this:

Image

You can check your volume using our Checker program - see info at http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker You will find the volume in decibels on the Information tab. For your information, we look for around 89 dB (87-91 is OK)
- also, the ending silence is only 2 seconds instead of 5 seconds
