[group] Sharp Eyes, the Silver Fox - philc
Chapter 3 - Sharp Eyes Hears Something - (I'm only mentioning this because I know this would be an easy edit for you.) Entirely optional - at about 6:27 there is a double thump. It's right between works so should be no problem to edit. It's See PL notes for now - but if you don't want to bother changing it let me know and I'll switch the magic window to PL OK.
Also, I notice that chapter 3 is an ad for other books in this series.
Chapter 4 - Sharp Eyes is Hurt - PL OK.
Chapter 5 - Sharp Eyes Meets Don - PL OK. I love the panting. I bet Don slobbers all over everything as well.

Thank you. Corrected chapter 3, same length: https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/sharpeyesthesilverfox_03_barnum_128kb.mp3
The double thump was made by my soft pallette while breathing in. I just zeroed the offending segment

That would be great. Enjoy.
Everything is fine except the silence at the end is just 4 1/4 seconds. I think we can let that go -- If Phil says that's OK.tcjsavannah wrote: ↑July 5th, 2020, 5:54 am Here is Chapter 12

I'll mark the chapter Check PL Notes for the moment.
A ruling please, Phil?
A note for future chapters. Checker says your average volume was in the acceptable range but almost 2 dB below the LibriVox ideal. You can't just amplify your chapter, though, because some of your peak levels are very near the maximum. A 1.5 or 2 dB amplification would put your loudest syllables into clipping - which sounds horrible. If some future chapter comes in with an average level more than 3 dB below the ideal level but with peaks as loud as you have here you would need to apply some light compression and then amplify the whole chapter a bit.

[Phil puts on judges' wig] I will allow that.
Hi Phil,
Would you please help me? I would like to know what to do when there is a message - syntax error unexpected token in JSON at position 0.
It's been two days that every time I try to upload my section that message appears. Thank you.
Bye!

Check your file name, is it exactly as specified in the first post? There may be some extra little things hidden in there that confuse the uploader.

Welcome to LibriVox! I have assigned that section to you but please wait for your test to be given t he OK before recording it. I just checked o ut your test and it needs a few things. And how would you like to be credited in our catalog? What name? most of us use our real name but it is up to you.
