Your natural accent is the best. It is most othentic.
Love gothic novels? Try Children Of The Abbey. Like surprising mysteries? Try The Amathist Cross. Looking for an easy read? Try Harriet's Choice.

PL notes for section 4:

At 2:04, the phrasing became awkward for a few seconds
5:32 I heard "ele kent" should be pronounced elo-kwent
11:25 The phrase "Rose felt her trembling..." became unclear
12:37 I heard "minute" (like a clock) should be pronounced my-nute (as in tiny)
13:48 I heard "seized" should be pronounced "seest" (ceased, as in ceased to exist)

Hi Rita! I just noticed that today is the day you joined Librivox 3 years ago! :D

Thank you for proof-listening! I would like to say that I feel that some of the notes are above the Standard level of proof-listening,
(like for example "ele kent" vs "elo-kwent", and "seized" vs "seest", as these also may be dependent on the reader's accent)
and thus I would say that editing would be optional (the reader can choose which fixes to make). Thanks :9:

Here's Chapter 4 with the corrections! Let me know if anything else needs to be fixed.

Huge thanks. Would you like to record more chapters from this book?

I definitely would like to, I really like this book. I won’t claim anything for now since I’m still editing chapter 5 and have some other chapters to record, but I’ll certainly return for more when I’m done with those!

Hi! I am new here, and I would like to record section 8. I have already completed my 1-Minute Test, and would like my name to be listed as Helen Melara.

Thank you!

Sure, just let me know under which name you would like to be credited in the catalogue. It can be your real name, your forum name, or something else that you choose.

Stella June please. Thanks! Does Librivox prefer chapters to be sent in separate files? This makes sense to me but thought I’d double check.
