thank you, April !

Just a small clarification: Actually, for drama roles we are not too picky about the initial silence (or the end silence) because all the bits get cut out anyway and pasted into a masterfile. As long as we have a good space to accurately cut out the bits, it's ok. You don't have to mention the silences, unless they are totally missing between speeches. So if that was the only part wrong, we don't need another upload of the sections. But here there are other errors, so there will be a reupload anyway.

Sonia
I will be on vacation from Wednesday 27 March till Sunday 14 April
and unable to PL during that time. Thank you for your patience.

Hi April,

Thanks for PLing the dramatic roles. Just wanted to let you know that PLing for silent spots is only applicable for the solo poems and the final edited DR files. It's not needed for the character files because those will be deleted after they're edited into the final product. When you PL those, all you need to make sure is that there are no mistakes in the readings themselves, and that each has a voice credit at the beginning as denoted in the Google Docs.

Hope everything is clearer, and thank you for your continued efforts!

adr6090 wrote: June 4th, 2020, 4:06 pmsection 75 is pl okay & kudos to Adrian for the deep voice, perfect voice in my estimation for an armored skeleton (which I thankfully wouldn't and shouldn't know just how that would sound.) Well done!!

Sonia, I did notice you did not include the footnote showing "suggested by an armor clad skeleton dug up at Fall river and in the ballad connected with the old Roman tower at Newport" at the end of the first page. It has me thinking to look into that. Intrigues me....
Nothing you believe needs to be in that piece of audio?
I nearly forgot I had to insert the footnote here. So here is the new file ready for Spot PL. I only changed from 0:20 - 0:29, to insert the footnote, the rest is totally unchanged, so you need not check anything else, April :) Thank you

7/14/20 edits for posted roles for sections 80 & 81

80-
Kate as narrator 4:59 pl okay
Jason as priest 1:44
File name is not correct. Should be (e.g. worldsbestpoetry7_2_001_various_128kb.mp3 ),
not as submitted (worldsbestpoetry7_2_080_jason_128kb.mp3
pl okay otherwise. please change filename and re submit .

81-
Jason as the narrator 3:29
file name incorrect, same as section 80, please rename.
Also a word pronunciation error.
Wound is not pronounced as you did pronounce it every time.
This is one of those words with different pronunciations & the same spelling.
1:59 is stated by yourself perfectly.
2 areas have the incorrect pronunciation and should have the pronunciation that you used at 1:59.-
1:42 , "cuts and wounds" & the same pronunciation at 2:14, "for with her amber locks cut off, each wound" even though this one rhymes with a following word in a sentence thereafter.
Please do fix the above edits and re post with the new time.

Kate as Ermenia 2:09
pl okay

Oops! Should also have clarified that everyone needs to put their name in the file names for the DRs only, so as not to overwrite anyone's file. The correct file names only matter for the solo poems and the final, edited versions of the DRs. Again, because the DRs need to be edited after all the roles come in, and the files for the individual roles will eventually be deleted, things like naming and silence don't matter.
