Sections 144 and 145 - PL OK.

Rob, I really enjoy listening to your reading - excellent diction, crisp with great inflection. Keep up the good work!

LGroden wrote: June 30th, 2020, 11:04 am Hi, are you still looking for people to PL?
Thanks! I think the more the merrier, as there are quite a few recordings still to PL.

People are claiming sections, so please have a look back over the last few posts. I would like to avoid having to keep track of long-term claims (like when someone claims a section to read and can then take a couple of months to do it) as I think that would make it more complicated than it needs to be.

If you post that you’re going to listen to X sections and then listen right away, I think that would be the simplest way.
I can listen to sections 120-140 this week, if that works for you. Thanks!

I listened back to this and it seems OK to me.
If I remember correctly you say simply, "End of Oscar Wilde." Your other recordings include the article's headline.

Have I got it wrong?

Yes, that's right, but the article was just called 'Oscar Wilde'. Quite a few of them are, but if they have a subheading I read that too. This one was just plain 'Oscar Wilde'.
Got it! I'll mark the section PL OK! if you haven't already done so.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I just think it's better to come back when you're ready to PL and post to say which files you're planning to PL that day, and then again when you've done them. Just because claiming a block of files in advance means that someone else with time won't be able to PL them.

It would theoretically be possible to log PL claims in the MW, but I'm reluctant to add another layer of organisation to the project and any claims in the thread are liable to missed once we move to the next page.
Sure! Sections 120 and 122 sound good, and can be marked PL OK.

Your help will be much appreciated. I'm slowly chugging away, but help will be most welcome. Do you want to take over or shall we divide the sections for PL?
It's up to you. I'm fine with anything. :D
Hey, that's great! How about your taking 103 through 109? You can keep going further than that if you wish, but please let me know. I'll being PLing more tomorrow.
