ok I have no idea really how to do that, but it sounds quite handy Well in any case, all the corrections are in and now PL ok. Thank Adrian ! Always good to have the stage directions in right at the start.adrianstephens wrote: ↑June 29th, 2020, 7:31 am(For what it's worth, I added a synchronized label track and dropped a marker at each mistake. I can then edit them in any order I like,
and I can find their new position easily.) Alt + left or right cursor skips to the next marker.

Thank you. Very clear. The alt-arrow to move between labels was completely new to me: great.adrianstephens wrote: ↑June 30th, 2020, 7:15 amI hadn't, but now I have: https://youtu.be/eM7wcwAL84w
Many years ago (7?), I actually figured out a way that I could automatically create and import a "label file" of voice cues from a play script - the first couple words of every line in a play made into labels. That way I could insert received parts in as they arrived rather than waiting until I had the narrator track and all the parts to do the assembly. But it was unwieldy and too much work to go through the master file for each part in turn - and I started using many scanned Archive.org scripts rather than all Gutenberg text files. Plus I got faster and better at juggling having all the parts open at the same time so the edit process doesn't delay the assembly process too much. (A better computer and a double-wide monitor help, too!)
So now I do wait until I have the narration and at least most of the parts, and then use labels to show where the few missing parts will go when they finally show up. Being able to move from label to label quickly will make that final assembly much easier.
Thanks, Todd

and Ruth is finished. Actually this was a more tearful performance than I initially thought. And this time I don't give you hell, Todd, quite the contrary.
