Hi Leni,

I've completed section 12:
https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/parallellives07_12_plutarchperrin_128kb.mp3
22:59

The sound quality was a bit tinny, I think, but didn't notice until I'd finished. Happy to re-record if you think it's not good enough.

Thanks,

Daniel

Hi Leni,

I've completed section 13:
https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/parallellives07_13_plutarchperrin_128kb.mp3
23:38

Much better sound quality as I had the microphone oriented correctly this time.

Thanks,

Daniel

Section 12 PL OK
Section 13 PL Notes
There is 8 seconds of silence at the end of Section 13 and it should be cut down by at least 2 seconds. Try to aim for only 5 seconds at the end.

I didn't find the little bit of tinniness distracting in Section 12, but the audio quality was much better in Section 13. Good Job!

Thanks for the feedback. It's a bit odd about the end of section 13. I've checked on the Audacity project and can only see between 5 and 5.5 second silence at the end. I've also listened to the MP3 to see if there's anything odd going on but it is only 5 seconds or marginally longer. I'm very happy to shave a couple of seconds off but I don't want to make it too short either!

Sorry about about section 13, I must have been mistaken. If there already is 5-5.5 seconds at the end it should be good.

Since the reader for section 08 hasn't been back, I will go ahead and claim the section, since this is so close to being done. :)
