oh this was a wonderful performance, Mattea :9: You veer between snobbishness at the beginning, then you bickering with Horace is simply great, so totally cliché that those two are in love with each other. And then she is such a lovely buddy to Clem and Lavvy. Simply excellent.

also, nothing missing, so all three acts straight PL ok. I had a great time listening to it all and it will even be better when it's in dialogue.

Thank you

and another great recording, Adrian, thank you so much. Pinero stage directions are not a walk in the park, so extra kudos for tackling them. I also love it when you get into the action, emotionally, it's like the narrator is part of the show (as well he might).

I found a few missed lines still:

> at 0:38: there is some coughing that could get cut out

> at about 11:27: (p. 83) missed line: "Clement enters, dressed for the theatre"

> at about 12:16: (p. 84) missed line: "Enter Dick, in dilapidated evening dress, old opera hat and seedy gloves"

thanks

Thank you.

(I am enjoying your Margot at the moment as I assemble Money-Spinner. Nicely done.)

Note: I forgot to put "End of Act 1" at the end of my recording.

You don't need to say "end of Act 1" - the stage directions take care of that.

Thank you both.

a great performance, Algy  I wasn't sure whether I should like Delaney and his motives so much, but you made him quite lovable after all. He's the one solving all the problems in the end.

Act 3 is straight PL ok.

Quite a few missed lines for Act 1 though:

> at about 1:47: (p. 12) four missed lines:
"Ah, you're a widow, I'm sorry to hear, Mrs. Rolt."
"And you're right about the trouble you've had if I'm any judge of faces.
"Thank goodness, it's no business of mine.
"Have you been alone a long while ?"

> at about 4:26: (p. 20) one missed line: "How's that, now ?"

thanks !

wow and another huge act  thanks, Adrian. I especially love the "rat-tat-tat" you are doing at the doors  you seemed to have fun with that.

I found a few missing lines still, best probably to start at the final note, otherwise you will mess up all my time stamps ;) :

> at about 3:18: (p. 128): missed line: "Clement, producing Lavender's letter"
> at 7:56: (p. 137) stumble and repeat "Mrs Gilfillian" and some finger clicking can be cut here
> at about 9:05: (p. 139) missed line: "Dr. Delaney enters"
> at 12:26: (p. 147) stumble and repeat: "Minnie, glancing towards Horace" and clicking can be cut
> at about 22:00: (p. 164) missed line: He goes into Clement's room"
> at about 22:57: (p. 166) missed line: "Dick waves the girls away. Wedderburn walks slowly"
> at about 27:40: (p. 175) missed line: "Dick and Dr. Delaney enter"
> at about 31:48: at the end of the play, could you also please add "End of Sweet Lavender, by Arthur Wing Pinero"

thanks :)

Oh and Act 2 is Spot PL ok

awww, the love-smitten hairdresser, how endearing, Alan. Love the humble attempts at getting your poetry listening to. I actually was curious to hear the poem  I would have given you less of a hard time than my character here. ;)

Thank you, the beginning is PL ok :)

oh wow, I really liked this fresh, young performance. You make him sound so boyish and enthusiastic, especially at the beginning. Later on he naturally becomes more thoughtful. Excellent job, Andrew, I'm so happy to welcome a new talent in our drama group. :9: I don't need to ask whether you liked the recording because I can tell that you had extreme fun. 8-)

No obvious missed lines as far as I can see, but I have two small corrections to note down:

> for the voice credit, please always include the detailed description from the MW, here: "Clement Hale, his adopted son, studying for the Bar, read by Andrew Hunt"

> at 6:47: (p. 37) "You left my friends at Nice, I presume ?" – this is supposed to be the French Mediterranean city Nice, which Clement probably would pronounce correctly the French way "Neece"

the rest is excellent, already looking forward to the next act :)

Thank you

Oops. This is rather more bloopers than usual. Sorry about making work for you Sonia.

The updated positions of the edits
> at about 3:18: (p. 128): missed line: "Clement, producing Lavender's letter" - still at 3:18, of course,
> at 7:56: (p. 137) stumble and repeat "Mrs Gilfillian" and some finger clicking can be cut here - 8:02
> at about 9:05: (p. 139) missed line: "Dr. Delaney enters" - 9:10
> at 12:26: (p. 147) stumble and repeat: "Minnie, glancing towards Horace" and clicking can be cut - 12:35
> at about 22:00: (p. 164) missed line: He goes into Clement's room" - 22:07
> at about 22:57: (p. 166) missed line: "Dick waves the girls away. Wedderburn walks slowly" - 23:09
> at about 27:40: (p. 175) missed line: "Dick and Dr. Delaney enter" - 28:01
> at about 31:08: at the end of the play, could you also please add "End of Sweet Lavender, by Arthur Wing Pinero" - end

(For what it's worth, I added a synchronized label track and dropped a marker at each mistake. I can then edit them in any order I like,
and I can find their new position easily.) Alt + left or right cursor skips to the next marker.
