Hi I thought I had claimed section one are there any others left I had nt been able to access the source per my email above but must have forgotten to claim it

Section 1 PL notes:
Beautiful reading, Lily! There is a background noise at 0:26 that needs to be edited out. The only other issue is that the volume of the file is 86.8 dB, which is too soft (87-91 dB is acceptable, and we aim for 89 dB). To adjust the volume in Audacity, select the whole recording. Click Effect > Amplify. In the Amplification box, enter the number +2.2 dB. Verify that the file is around 89 dB using Checker, then re-upload using the same filename. Post in this thread when the file is ready for spot PL. Thanks so much.

Hi cadastra, thank you! Do you think I could adjust the volume in Garageband? I don't have Audacity.

Your volume is OK, no need to increase it. Did you take out that bump near the begenning?

Thanks I will put this into the magic window for proof listening.
We do not have that feature of highlighted text. I recommend Learning Ally https://learningally.org/ They have been supplying exactly this type of audio book for anyone with reading difficulties for many years. One of my 'other' hobbies is to record for them.
