Thanks for the heads up cavaet! Will try to finish this by tomorrow.

Btw is it not necessary to say "This LibriVox recording is in the public domain." because its only in the public domain for certain geographical areas?

Hi cavaet! I've gone through all the odd-numbered sections already, but will update all once I receive confirmation for below:

Otherwise below are the notes for the updated sections:

Sonnet VII: Additional 15 seconds of silence at the end
Sonnet IX: Additional 9 seconds of silence at the end
Sonnet XI: Wrong pronunciation for "satyr" (is pronounced like "satire"), whereas it's pronounced correctly in sonnet XXIII
Sonnet XXXI: @0:35 it should be "your limbs in mine" instead of "your lips in mine"
Sonnet XXXIII: @0:36 it should be "for ever round" and not "for every round"; @0:46 "e'en" is pronounced [iːn] (I mention this because you pronounced e'er correctly in another sonnet)
Sonnet XXXIX: @0:16 it should be "As list'ning lovers" instead of "And list'ning lovers"; @0:19 it should be "such life" and not "such a life"; there is only a 3-second silence at the end of the recording
Sonnet XLVII: Additional 3 seconds of silence at the end
Sonnet XLIX: Additional 2 seconds of silence at the end
Sonnet LVII: @0:15 you missed out the line "Though sense must labour in the mind's employ"; @0:29 it should be "let me serve you with foison" and not "let me serve you with a foison"

Hope this helps!

All sections should have that in it. It appears I didn't put in the short disclaimer in the first post correctly. I'm sorry! Working on fixing it now...

If the longest section on this is 8 minutes, I think you can use the shorter LibriVox intro/outro for everything. I'll make that change in the first post.

EDIT: No, wait - the "This LV recording is in the public domain" is on the first post wording! So I didn't goof after all.

My response is ARRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!I totally forget the librivox disclaimer, so they'll all need to be re-uploaded.
Yes about everything else, except. Saiter versus saitire. They are both correct prononciations I'll relisten and decide if it works better with the other.

Tricia do I need to pull all the address tags from the magic window? Or will the new upload overwrite?

Huh I didn't know about this, I grew up speaking three languages so sometimes my pronunciation is a bit...mixed up XD. For reference I use the collins online dictionary though.

New upload will overwrite, so just upload using the same file names.

(Technically, the old file is renamed, not overwritten. So it's not lost forever, in case someone accidentally uploads a file with the wrong name, thus replacing a file they shouldn't have.)

Know the problem, I grew up speaking four.(German, English, Latin and Welsh). I'll re-upload this lot in the next two days, for re-proofing. I'll drop a heads up to you when ready.

Ok 3 things to post about:

1) Hi Elise! Just a head's up but you posted the sonnet X's audio file to sonnet XIII and forgot to add in the file for sonnet XV in the compiler/magic window ^^'

2) PL notes:
Sonnet III: I can't verify the text because of reasons stated below -_-, but missing 5 seconds of silence at the end
Sonnet V: @0:12 "whate'er" should be pronounced [wɒtˈɛə] aka "whatever" without the v sound; missing the 5 seconds of silence at the end
Sonnet XIII: @0:24 the line should "courted me through troubled tides", not "through the troubled tides"; @0:59 "o'er" is pronounced [ɔːʳ], so "over" without the "v" basically; missing 5 seconds of silence at the end; the volume gets lower and lower gradually, it's not as obvious if you listen to the whole thing but if you compare beginning, middle and end it's more evident
Sonnet XV: @0:49 "o'er" same thing as above; missing 5 seconds of silence at the end
Sonnet XIX: missing 5 seconds of silence at the end
Sonnet XXVII: missing 5 seconds of silence at the end

Side note about the volume: Sonnets III, V and XIX are louder(I listened to it around volume level 14 on my computer), while the others are less loud(volume level 22) and are also more consistent volume-wise with cavaet's recordings (for me anyway, nobody's hearing is identical). Idk if you need to do anything about it, but just some general feedback i guess.

3) I realise I don't actually have access to some of the sections (listed below) because they're not in the vic.gov.au link and I don't have access to the hathitrust link. Is someone able to dm me a pdf of these sections? or can zavaa01 cover the sections I don't have? :help:
The sections I don't have access to:
  • Sonnet III
  • Sonnet IV
  • When I Was Six
  • My Muse
  • Seascape
  • The Rainbow
  • Fortune
  • Holiday Humour
  • In A Garden
  • Outside The Gate
  • The Ragnarok Of Regeneration
  • Wedded
  • The Bridal Ode
  • Night-Ride
  • No Woman's Land
  • Spring
  • The Babies's Bay
  • Gods At Gallipoli

Yeah. I posted Sonnnet 10 into Sonnet 13's spot. I'll change it out later tonight.
However. You can still PL if you wish by clicking on the file name from EliseDee's posting.
