Thanks, Rita :)
For section 13 I have one note:
2:09 – the text says "She did not only recall his conversation, but conjectured..." but the word only is missing.
And section 14 is flawless

Huge huge thanks.
Love gothic novels? Try Children Of The Abbey. Like surprising mysteries? Try The Amathist Cross. Looking for an easy read? Try Harriet's Choice.

Thanks, Bethblakely, great job :) The only recording that needs a correction is section 44 – at 17:30 the text says "he gloried to think" while I hear "he glorified to think".
All the others are PL OK!

Hi Angela,
thanks for your recording! It's nicely lively :) But before I can mark it as PL OK, there are a few things to fix a bit:
  • I see that you haven't got approved your one minute test yet. This should be done before you submit any other recording but as this section passed the Checker, I think that we can keep it (but you should definitely have it approved before another submitting). The only thing I'd mention is the volume - overall volume is fine (91.6 dB) but occasionally it gets quite high (when a character speaks etc). It's really good how you change your voice but you should be carefull not to speak too loud. I suggest that you could speak from greater distance when you need to speak loud - the tone of your voice will remain as it is but the volume will be lower.
  • At the beginning when you're saying the LibriVox disclaimer, I hear something like if the words were cut at the ends. I'm not sure what could have made it (fortunately, it doesn't appear through the rest of the recording). Could you please re-record the disclaimer and replace the old one?
  • And one final thing - at 4:32, the text says "as well as he could" but the word as is missing.
If you have any questions or need some help with editing, just let me know, either here or via PM :)
Thanks!
