Wow... absolutely beautiful reading, Valentina. I love your voice, from your interpretation of the words to the rate at which you read! Section 1 is PL OK. I am excited to PL more of your recordings in the future!

Thanks Phil

So .. if I understand correctly, intros will be ...as follows ...

"Section 4 of The Early Cave-Men. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org. Recording by Dick Bourgeois-Doyle. The Early Cave-Men, by Katharine Elizabeth Dopp. Chapter 10 How the Women Dressed Sabre-tooth’s Skin - (then I read the list of Things to Think about relevant to this Chapter, then the text of that Chapter concluding with the Things to Do for this Chapter followed immediately by "Chapter 11 - How the Cave-men Made Clothing (then I read the list of Things to Think about for Chapter 11 .... and so on ?

Yes, and at the end of the recording, say, "End of Section 4."

Hello, I would like to claim sections 7,8,9.

I am also new to Librivox, so I would like to appear under the pseudonym TheIntern356.

Great! welcome to Librivox and to this project. Those sections are all yours; 9 short chapters in all. The intro is a bit convoluted but follow what it says in the first post and you will be fine. Ask if anything is confusing. Now go help those cave men make it through the night.

And your catalog name will be set to TheIntern356.

Requesting a quick clarification - For the first chapter of every section, we do not read the "Things to Think About" of the first chapter, only for the other two chapters in the section? (e.g. I have section 7, so I read "section 7 of...is a Librivox recording...The Early Cave-Men, by Katherine Elizabeth Dopp. Chapter 19, How Firekeeper Made the Skin Water Bag. Begin Reading Story

Actually those "things to think about" for chapter 7 (your first chapter) should indeed be read. I had not though about this so yours is a fine question. So, starting with Section 3 onwards, read " Section [number] of The Early Cave-Men . This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"
If you wish, say: "Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"
Say:
"The Early Cave-Men, by Katharine Elizabeth Dopp. [Chapter number then title, followed by "things to think about" then the text.] Yes, this is awkward but the best solujtion I can think of. Does this make sense to you ? In other words, read the chapter title, then the Things to Think about. I decided to include these questions because they can provoke some beneficial thought in children and adults. :D
