The volume is low, 83.8dB. Recommended is 86-92dB. Clipping is preventing amplification. If using Audacity you will need to use Effect/Compressor to remove the peaks in the audio waveform so that you can amplify the file. Watch the video below. Compression followed by amplification should suffice though occasionally a second compression-amplification cycle is needed. This process will help even out the volume levels in the file.

Just FYI, I am all done recording my section, but am editing the recording still (the part that always takes the longest). Hopefully I will be able to finish it by the end of the week!
