oOO--eeee! Am I supposed to be proofing 9, 10 and 11? Yes, I am. I'll try to get on that sooner than a fortnight!
Needn't rush - the melee between the Bolsheviks and Laborites doesn't come for a while.
I'm going to grab another couple of sections to record this weekend.

Please check out your file names. They should not include "File_name_"
Please correct and re-upload.
Also, your volumes vary from 90.7 to 90.4 to 89.5. Within LV range, but listeners will have to adjust volume between files when they listen to your sections.

Bill, you might as well wait until I PL all three files so you can make any changes all at once. Here's a start:

PL Notes 09
22:03 that stuck out of their clots of foliage in dark tufts, delete first "of"

PL Notes 10
19:15 I tell you, this country’s too far from Europe to risk it, you say far too
Sorry, but I think I made a mistake where to divide up this chapter. It should end with "if a pal brings them in and vouches for them." The rest should be added to the beginning of section 11.

Really nice descriptions of the seashore, but it doesn't much advance the plot until the last half. I was salivating for some action!!!!!
Ah, I have an abalone shell at home . . . one of my prized possessions!

PL Notes 11
Should begin with "Richard was now feeling rather out of it." (from Section 10, beginning at 26:53 to end). Sorry, couldn't tell until I listened to the flow of the story.

4:30 feel like joining in, you say join
22:12 Perhaps not to pull out money plums., not is missing

Only 7 million Australians at the time this book was written, and already they want a revolution. Geez. They don't have a very high opinion of democracy, or of material prosperity. But they sure don't speak for me. Me, I wantses my property, my things, my own money, and stores to shop in.

Hello SanjitaY,
Welcome to Librivox.
I see that this was your very first message posted on the Librivox Forum.
The process of being a volunteer "reader" on LV (=LibriVox) is quite simple but there is a STEP #1:
You supply a 1-minute test recording for the sake of verifying that your recording equipment and software are set up properly. This is a one-time task. You have not done this yet. Here is a link which describes the process. https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test
In addition please consider telling us something about yourself at this link:
viewforum.php?f=17
It will be helpful to know whether/how much experience you have in recording, etc.

DO try out some shorter, less demanding practice sections as your first step in learning how to do things. There are several short story and poetry projects which will offer you many opportunities for learning the processes. Here is a link the Short Works (Poetry & Prose) project:
viewforum.php?f=19

The First Posted message (FP) on every project contains all you need to know to produce a correct, usable .mp3 audio file. There's a LOT of information there. It will pay to read it very carefully.

Lets get started! Let me know when you've received an OK on your 1-Minute test.
I'll reserve section 15 for you for a period of 2 weeks (7 July) or until you have completed your 1-Minute test Thanks for offering your talents and time to this project!
