Hello I just finished reading Chapter 9 of Through the Looking Glass

- The intro matched
- there are no long silences or pauses
- no background noise
- the volume was good
-the ending matched
-there was no 5 second pause

This project does have a DPL (dedicated proof-listener) who has agreed to listen to all the sections. If you're looking for something to proof-listen, we could really use you in this project: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=75184

Look for projects that have a tilde (~) in the subject line; that's to show there's no DPL. Also, you can look in the Magic Window. If, right under the number of sections assigned and completed, it says, "This project has a dedicated proof-listener who will listen to all sections:" with someone's name, then it has a DPL.

5:57- missing "'Wrong as usual,' said the Red Queen: 'the dog's temper would remain.' 'But I don't see how-' 'Why, look here!' the Red Queen cried.

Sections 10, 11, and 12 are PL-OK!

Hmm, it still isn't quite right at 5:55. I'm so sorry to be picky. Here is what the text says (bold text is still missing):

‘Wrong, as usual,’ said the Red Queen: ‘the dog’s temper would remain.’

‘But I don’t see how—’

‘Why, look here!’ the Red Queen cried. ‘The dog would lose its temper, wouldn’t it?’

‘Perhaps it would,’ Alice replied cautiously.

This is what I hear (bold text is what should be replaced with the text above, it is accidentally repeated it seems):

'Wrong, as usual,' said the Red Queen: 'The dog would lose its temper, wouldn't it?'

'Perhaps it would,' Alice replied cautiously.

‘Why, look here!’ the Red Queen cried. ‘The dog would lose its temper, wouldn’t it?’

‘Perhaps it would,’ Alice replied cautiously.

(Hope that makes sense!)

Nope totally my for fault for not carefully proof reading what I wrote! Sorry to make you panic!

Thank you again for allowing me to DPL both books! These have always been my favorite stories since I was a child and I very much enjoyed listening to you read them!!
