Here is a redo of Section 66, "The Narrator", to include the two sections that ALANMAPSTONE kindly caught. I also made the silence between parts to be about 3".

Oh, thank you so much!
Sorry I hadn't got to this yet so I could give you those lines, but you have been so industrious! Thank you so much.
I appreciate your extra effort. I'll have this ready soon.

Thank you for reading these chapters!
All technical specifications are just fine.

There is, however, some problem with the audio quality that makes parts of it barely understandable. Several of us have listened to this.
It sounds as if there may be some issue with your microphone or its settings.
Or, some of the distortion could be a result of some processing you are doing to the recording on the back end.

If you could tell us a little more about you microphone and set up and any adjustments you are making to the recording, we may be able to help you achieve a better result.

Don't make a new recording until we can give you some additional feedback. Then, maybe you can do a small sample for us to check out.

Don't be discouraged. It sometimes takes a little work to get things right at first.
We just want you to be the best you can be.
Hey,
Thank you for the feedback!
I checked it out, the problem seems to be my input port. I seem to have damaged it, hence the trouble.
If it's okay I would like to orphan my pieces, the repairs will take sometime.

Ah, yes. that would explain it. :(
Okay, I'll free up these sections, but look forward to your joining us again soon on another project!

https://librivox.org/uploads/linny/salvator_64_wilcox_128kb.mp3 06:17

Fragments separated by a CLAP and 2 seconds of silence.

At 4:03 in my file is a "he said" that should probably belong to the narrator.
“That’s just what I tell myself and the little woman,” //[4:03]he said//.
I left my recorded "he said" in the file, just in case.
Okay, this works.
I just need a voice credit: "Dick read by William Jones" would be fine. You can upload it as salvator_64_voicecredit_wilcox_128kb.mp3

Very, very nicely read for this part :D
Thanks so much.

Thank you so much!!

I forgot to specify the intro for the narrator, so could you do it just as "Dick's Family by Ella Wheeler Wilcox"

Then there is just one little slip that I think would sound better if corrected. It is near the beginning, about the third line which is a long block and toward the end the paragraph:

"Directly opposite was a three-story and basement brick house, which had in its day been a semi-fashionable private residence. But as trade encroached upon the street, this building had degenerated to an apartment house."

I hear "seen," which sounds a bit odd.

You can put those to in one file as salvator_66_intro_wilcox_128kb

But, absolutely fabulous narration for this piece!
