PL OK. I think you could have taken out more of the voice tone stage directions if you wished, but I have no problem with leaving them in. It is intended to be a very awkward situation, and I can easily picture people saying nothing but speechlessly giving potent glares at each other before they do speak.benderca wrote: ↑June 8th, 2020, 6:47 am I am looking for a PL for He Said and She Said.
He Said and She Said: A One-Act Play by Alice Gerstenberg (1885 – 1972) (BC for this play is benderca)
WARNING: Although the play was published in 1921, Gerstenberg died in 1972. This play is not PD for some countries. Sorry

I took out a couple of the stage directions, when voice tone made them clear and when if left in they would have interrupted the flow, but I left most in. I was considering taking out several more, but I'd like a second opinion. When PLing, please feel free to comment also on the spacing and volume.
Thanks,
TJ
Thanks, Todd! I think I'll give it another listen, because I was leaning towards taking a few more stage directions out. But I agree with you that the pauses are sometimes effective as well. Especially the "raises her eyebrows" pauses...ToddHW wrote: ↑June 10th, 2020, 1:42 pmPL OK. Other spacing fine and volume also fine.
Thanks, Todd
