Hi Linny,
Thanks for listening to chapter 5. Have you had a chance to listen to chapter 4 yet? I posted that one a couple of days before doing chapter 5.
Thanks,
Rachel

May I listen to a chapter that has been completed? I'm not quite sure how to voice the headings at each new subtopic. Will it be clear to the listener to read out the heading and then, after a pause, carry on? Thank you for your help!

Just a kind question. Did this just get overlooked, or did I do something else wrong? (Which is always possible).

Rachel and Wayne,
I'm sorry. I was sick for a few days. I thought I was keeping up but apparently I wasn't. I'll Listen today. Promise. Thank you for being patient with me and for reminding me. It's always my goal to PL withing 24 hours of your posting. I don't always make it but I certainly appreciate it when it's been longer and you remind me.

A slight pause at the end of a section (1-1.5 seconds), then read the new heading. You may leave another pause after the new heading is you wish. The pauses are not required it's simply my opinion on what I think sounds good.

Here is chapter 4:

length 16:17
I tried to be more intentional about speaking closer to the mic, but I found my "p's" popped more than I like. So then I tried
changing my angle to the mic and that seemed to help.
Rachel
Chapter 4 is PL OK. You did pop a bit more in this section, however much less in chapter 5.

17:47 running time
Great job! Loved the sigh. :D

Please extend ending silence to ~5 seconds. Less than that runs the risk of cutting off your recording during playback.

Thanks. I thought that a sigh definitely belonged there.
I checked the recording on Audacity, and according to the counter there, it's a bit over 5 seconds. (I'm a bit gun shy - timer-shy? - because on another of my recordings I was told the end/empty space was too long.) Shall I add some more time to it? (Obviously I don't want anyone to miss hearing my dulcet tones. :D )

Could I grab section 14, Chapter 14 - A Master-Thought?
Just got my 1-min test approved today, so it'll be my first recording here: catalog name Josh Broussard
