Hi, thank you for listening. Should I rerecord the very beginning of the chapter? You're right I did say Tom Thump by accident :lol:

Welcome to Librivox, Pianolil. I must give you the standard warning that LibriVox can become an almost all-consuming habit, not that that is a bad thing at all.

I don't normally listen to things before they are put in the Magic Window, but I wanted to make sure I stayed caught up with this effort.

Both of your chapters were very well read and easy to listen to. Unfortunately, both of them have a volume level that is just over the limit of 92 db. I will leave it up to powers that be greater than me to decide what to do about that.

Is it my imagination that your pronunciation of "Tom Thumb" at the very beginning of Chapter 25 sounds more like "thump" than "thumb"?

I copied the URL shown for Chapter 45, changed the number from 44 to 45, and, then, opened it. It went to the right section so I think the only thing that needs to be done is to correct the typo.

Welcome to LibriVox, mleigh. I am sure you have heard this before, but I must warn you that LibriVox can become a life-long obsession. :D

Chapter 28 was well read. Your accent added to fun in listening to it.

Just one suggestion: Your audio was a bit light at times and I would recommend moving a bit closer to the microphone or speaking just a bit louder.

Just to ward off an attack of massive confusion on my part :roll: :roll: , all you need to do is rerecord the beginning of the chapter, i.e. de-thump-ize it, and reload it and all will be well. :D
