Gee, I thought that first act of Hobby-Horse would keep you happily DPL'ing for a few days. I'll start editing now.

Thanks, Todd

Kengussie, Act 2 completed:
https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/moneyspinner_kengussie_2_128kb.mp3
another excellent job. Kengussie started drifting a bit into becoming a fop  but then by the end, especially when he speaks so threateningly to Faubert and so quietly to Milly, that's when it's really clear that the foppishness is only a show. He's deeper than he lets on. great performance, Chris, thanks !

I have two small notes though:

> at 2:28: (p. 31) "le roi" – optional: not sure if you want Kengussie to be a correct speaker of French card-game lingo. In case you do, it's not pronounced the English way, but should sound more like /rwa/. Maybe you know the expression "she has a certain je-ne-sais-quoi", well it's the same double vowel than in the word "quoi" (/qwa/)

> at 10:36: (p. 37) "as to induce me to to hope most fervently" - you say "introduce"

"We seek him here, we seek him there
Those Frenchies seek him everywhere!
Is he in heaven? Or is he in hell?
That demmed Elusive Pimpernel?"

If they can get Pimpernel to rhyme with something, I'm sure something can be done with Kengussie

He wanted young Millie,
but she rejected - how silly!
Howsabout the other,
her sister Croodle, same mother!
But what if Dorinda's a hussy?
worried Lord Kengussie.
I'll just play some le roi;
ah, je-ne-sais-quoi.

Thanks, Todd

 brilliant, Todd. Didn't know you had hidden talents as a poet. (the Kengussie/hussy rhyme was too tempting I guess  )

"Have fun playing my severely tried husband"

Take a tip from Todd and I. It's all in the way you grind your molars.

Cheers,
Chris
