I see you had some unresolved issues with background noise on your test. Be sure that you turn off everything you can hear before you start recording. Sit quietly in your recording area and just listen. If you can hear it, so can the microphone. If you are using Audacity then Adrian left you a great list of videos on how to noise clean. If you are having to amplify a lot then it's common to have to noise clean.

Colton,
Since we can't sign off on volunteer work please confirm if you still want section 6.

Hello Colton,
Nicely done. Are you using Audacity? If so please select View>Show clipping. Now you should see a number of red lines scattered throughout your reading. This is when you would louder than than the program could record. Too much clipping leads to distortion so it's something to keep an eye on.

For this recording, please make the following corrections:

5:49 word change p16. which is self-sustained as it is self-derived
6:11 repeat - the would be

11:03 word change p19. We all know the child who is fully willing to do the right thing...
11:12 stumble p19. ...but with whom bodily vis inertia is strong enough
12:24 word change p20. ...in response to his own, is to make a man of him.
12:46 word change p20. ...and it rests with parents to give their children...
17:06 repeat - vis inertia
18:55 word change p.23. I am not proposing a one-sided arrangement, ...
19:50 word change p24. ...because to them it means quiet rest and gaiety of heart.
Extend ending silence to 5 seconds. At the current 3.5 seconds there is a risk of being cut off during playback.

Hello Rachel,
You did a wonderful job! :9:

There are a couple of things which need to be fixed.
19:15 - There is a longer than normal pause mid sentence is it…when mother

The volume is very low at 77.2dB. Please amplify. We aim for 89dB with an allowable range of 86-92dB.
Please noise clean (after you amplify).

If you need any help with the corrections please let me know what software you are using.
