Welcome to LibriVox Andrew. :D good first reading, no issues found, except a rather high DC offset of +210. I think the system itself caused the offset, it is easily corrected with Audacity/Effect/ Normalize.

thanks for the welcome and for the feedback, i did see the high DC thing when i used checker on my file, i had no idea what it meant! if i see it again i now know what to do. Andrew James can be my name for the catalog please.

Thank you jsmolin, welcome to Librivox, good first reading. The volume is a bit low at 84.4 dB, you should aim for your waveforms to peak near the 0.5 mark, like this:

You can check your volume using our Checker program - see info at http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker You will find the volume in decibels on the Information tab. For your information, we look for around 89 dB (87-91 is OK)
