You've got them!
No need to panic about any singing... if you're comfortable with it, great; if not, recitation is fine (coming from someone who can't carry a tune in a paper bag )
As for dividing the chapter... I leave it to you to find the most logical place. Roughly half way would be great, but if that's not how it works out, so be it.
