Lullaby-Land: Songs of Childhood by Eugene Field (1850 - 1895).

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalogue page: https://librivox.org/lullaby-land-songs-of-childhood-by-eugene-field/

Lullaby-Land: Songs of Childhood is a book of children’s poetry by Eugene Field. Within the poems in this volume you will find some of his well-known works including The Duel, Wynken, Blynken and Nod, and Little Boy Blue. ( SweetHome)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/54874
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

I can set this up. Back soon.

Anne

All done.
The intro/outro will need to be adjusted to match your planned way of splitting the book so I've left it at the moment.

Have fun

Section 1 is PL OK :D

I think it would be easier to tell when you're starting a new poem if you left a little more silence between them. It's up to you though.

That is a good idea. I added about 2 seconds of silence between the poems and re-uploaded section 1. Hopefully it is easier to listen to now. I have also uploaded section 2.
