Well, since you've got several sections proof-listened, I decided to get this one done. Section 052, 1 Chronicles, Chapters 1-6:

Hi annise,

I have completely forgotten my target completion date for this project! I just need to know because I may even have to extend it a little bit!

I noticed that "Carl Eric Bechhofer Roberts" is listed as the author for the Basic Bible on the page where it says it's "in progress". Can that be changed?

I can't see the scan, I don't live in America so who is he? does he need to be acknowledged
We normally put the version in the author field for bibles , what should I put for this ?

On the homepage under "BROWSE THE CATALOG", under "Genre/Subject", it's the very first entry under "Non-fiction>Bibles", "The Basic Bible, Old Testament". The actual author/translator is S.H. Hooke (1874-1968).

I hope I pointed you in the right direction!

Thanks!

I think we might stick to convention and put the version as the author - it's what we do with others. It does not offend anyone that way hopefully so I'll put "The Basic Bible" for the moment.

And I've added Hooke as the translater and added him to the author database. And don't worry about the target date - as long as the project is progressing I won't worry about the speed, especially in the world as it is now :D

Greetings -

Everything with this section is PL OK except that the volume level is too high, coming in at 94.5 db.

Maybe I need to tone down my lamenting!!

I still haven't figured out how to lower the volume of my recordings using Audacity.

I do adjust too high volumes while I catalogue so don't worry, it's the low ones that are difficult to fix - amplifying low ones directly often causes clipping, So just leave it.
