Hi there,
Here is Jane Sawyer for Chapter 1.
https://librivox.org/uploads/mightyfelix/newchronicles_01_jane.mp3
34 seconds

It's been a while since I recorded, so I hope this came through okay. Can you please remind me of something? I know (per my notes) that the optimal recording level should be at 88dB, but is there a range? Per Checker, this one ended up, after some correction, at 90.3dB. Just wondering if I'll need to redo it.

Thanks,
Laura

Because Latin was an international language it had a common written form everywhere but different spoken forms in different countries. There is no one correct way of pronouncing Latin.
Ah, I see.

EDIT: I believe most of the pronunciations I listened to and recorded were ecclesiastical. Do whatever you think is best! :)

Thank you!

Yes, the range is 86-92 dB. 90.3 dB is great! :)

Jane Chapter 1 is PL OK!

My only note for your next recording is that it may sound better with a little less noise reduction. If you apply multiple passes of noise reduction, then maybe apply one less -- or if you apply just one pass, then maybe make it less aggressive.

I'm sorry, that role was just barely already claimed. Let me know if there's someone else you're interested in reading for. :)
