And we are honored to have you join us. :D I have assigned that section to you but before you record it, please make and upload a 1 minute test to be sure your recording set up is OK. Instructions can be found in our Wiki and in the first post of this project but Here is a video that may help too: How to Make your 1 minute test.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlaRY_-bcfs and then How to Upload your 1 minute test How to Upload your 1 minute test

Also, how would you like to be credited in our catalog? What name? most of us use our real name but it is up to you. Your forum name is Jenease and your catalog name can be the same or something different.

PL notes:
We aim for a volume between 87 and 91 dB - yours is too high at 93.7. You can check volume using Checker (https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker) and reduce it using the amplify feature in Audacity.
You have 8 seconds of silence at the end of the recording; there should only be 5.

Please reupload with these changes and you'll be all set!

Your chapters are all quite loud, above the target range of 87-91 dB. You can use Checker (https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker) to check on your volume. Please use the Amplify feature in Audacity to reduce the volume below 91 dB and reupload the recordings. For future recordings you might want to sit a little further from your mic :)

Make sure you have _128kb on all your file names when you reupload.

Hi philchenevert,

I would love to work on section 25 and 26 if possible. This will be my first recording if my claim is successful. Please use Blake Glover for LibriVox catelog.

Thanks :)
