As for some of the works mentioned in the text:
We have the English translation of Campanella's "City of the Sun" in the catalogue, as well as a bilingual Polish/English edition of Kochanowski's "Treny". Gallileo's "Dialogo Dei Massimi Sistemi" is currently being recorded. Chmielnicki's uprising was depicted in much detail in Sienkiewicz's novel "Ogniem i Mieczem", the English translation of which has also been recorded.

Alas, sometimes even original typesetters make mistakes, that results in an obvious error needing correction. My motto: "every letter typed, every syllable spoken, is an opportunity to err." That we make so few errors is a miracle in this literary business.

Hi Chad, What an exciting first read for LibriVox! All the complications of building that tunnel give me the shivers, just to listen to them explained! You read very well, clear voice, nice pacing, and your file "passed" when I put it through our LibriVox file checking app "Checker." Hurrah!

I entered the title for your selection in the Magic Window (and for cataloging purposes) as "The Original Hudson Tunnel." I think it's ok the way you introduced your section, naming the book first "The Subways and Tunnels of New York: Methods and Costs," and then introducing Chapter 2; but it might be better in future, if it suits you, to start with the name of the chapter: thus "The Original Hudson Tunnel," Chapter 2 from "The Subways and Tunnels of New York: Methods and Costs." That way, if you want to read subsequent chapters, it would make it simpler.

Hi Chad, Another chapter from the same book would be great! Each reader is allowed to read two selections of their own choosing for each volume of the SNF. As long as the selections are nonfiction and in the public domain (and run less than 74 minutes recording time), there are no restrictions.
