a wonderful little sister you are Jen :9: I love the differences in character we display here, you are a right little alleycat trying to hide it behind sophistication but falling back into your old habits sometimes  Oh and this was a brilliant laugh in Act 2 ! Excellent job  these dialogues will be so much fun assembled together.

Act 1 is already PL ok

One PL note for Act 2 though:

> at about 5:08: (p. 32) missed line: "I didn't know you were there, papa."

thanks

Thank you, Sonia! Here is the corrected file (correction is at about 5:10):

And I totally forgot to tell you and Todd that I added a screech in Act 1 (2:07) and a laugh in Act 2 (5:17) in case Todd wants them. But obviously, you have already discovered they were there

Todd,

As the two-month stretch is just now coming to a close, this is just to let you know that I have just this minute finished binge-recording the characters of Kengussie, Spencer Jermyn, Hegio, and Fife ... I now have to edit them.

I'd just like to catch my breath first, as going without a pause from Posh Lord to Colourful Racing Identity to Roman Scum-sucking Lawyer to Russian servant is a little dizzying.

Cheers,
Chris

Act 1 completed: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/moneyspinner_kengussie_1_128kb.mp3

You know, Todd, after all this put-upon husband and clergyman malarkey, I think you need a breakout role. I have in mind for you a compact but key role in an Australian Outback short story DR that I am thinking of putting together later this year. The character's nickname is "Awful Example".

They say a change is as good as a holiday, you know.

What do you think, Sonia? Do you think Todd could rise, or rather, sink, to the challenge of the role?

Cheers,
Chris

wow Chris, you managed to make the Lord completely different to what I pictured him (this is really rare in plays, so kudos for that). You made him much more jovial and carefree towards Milly, while I pictured him totally doe-eyed and still hunkering for her. Of course your joviality can easily be interpreted as being an act for self-preservation. He doesn't want to out himself as the loving fool he still is ;) His attitude towards Dolly is totally in line with that reading.

It's a cool interpretation, and I like it. Now let's see whether he can keep his "wall" up for act 2 as well or whether he will have a moment of weakness

PL ok.

Todd: that means Act 1 is ready for your final magic touches !!!!

Have you heard back from Michael ? I hope he doesn't go AWOL before finishing Boycott :?

Thank you

Sonia
