Would you like to do section 1? We haven't heard back from the reader about the pl notes. :hmm:

Absolutely, but that would make this a solo, where the intros and outros would be very different. What do you think? Could we leave them as they are?

I think it is a great idea. The introes and outroes don't really matter that much.
Love gothic novels? Try Children Of The Abbey. Like surprising mysteries? Try The Amathist Cross. Looking for an easy read? Try Harriet's Choice.

Exactly. The intros are optionally shortened in solo projects to make it easier for the reader, but I've seen soloists who prefer to use the full disclaimer anyway.
Thank you for doing it!

Here is the final chapter, number 1:

I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this book despite the highly objectionable and dreadful racism which runs rampant through it. But we have to remember that this was how the people at that time felt and spoke. Nothing of the kind would ever be acceptable today.

I also took note of the occasional sexist remarks which revealed just how Paul Laurence Dunbar felt about women. Unfortunate, but again, this is reflective of the times.

Thanks for giving me a chance to do this solo.
Best regards, Rita
