My friend needs help setting up Audacity with the right tech specs. Here's what she says:
"I downloaded Audacity but since I have a Chromebook I had to make it compatible and now whenever I try to set the specifications it doesn't stick." I told her that there must be a way to set it (although how exactly to do that is beyond me.) She said, "there is. Just when I finish setting it it all goes back to the default settings." Does anybody know how to fix this? I work on a PC, not a Chromebook, so I have no clue what's going on.

Of course, I have no idea what any of this means.

Hey Rachel,
I have a Chromebook, but I don't use it for any of my librivox things. It cannot really download any files or anything. I'm not entirely sure how audacity would work on Chromebook, but not to bring your hopes down, I believe there was another discussion about it here viewtopic.php?f=23&t=76892&p=1640417&hilit=chromebook+audacity#p1640417
