Naw, I just copied the wrong link.aradlaw wrote: ↑May 14th, 2020, 7:43 amLarry, you've submitted your Fortnightly file instead of the Weekly. I hope you didn't fling your mic into the sea.silverquill wrote: ↑May 14th, 2020, 7:27 am Was this the last poem he ever wrote, or did he get a new pen?

Welcome to LibriVox VoiceNB17 good first reading, there is just one tech item to address...
the bitrate is 135 kbps (variable), we need 128 kbps (constant) for cataloging purposes. This is changed when you export/save in Audacity, there is the Format Options at the bottom of the Export Box.
*Please let me know under what name would you like to appear in the LV catalog and if you have one, we can put your personal URL link on your catalog page too.
You can view your brand new LV Catalog page by clicking your forum name in the Magic Window.

My apologies for the inconvenience - my bitrate was indeed set to "variable," not "constant," even though I exported it as 128 kbps in both cases.
I uploaded the corrected version at the same link:
https://librivox.org/uploads/aradlaw/brokenoar_longfellow_nb_128kb.mp3
It should be 1.15 KB and still have a length of 01:14.
Would it be possible for "VoiceNB17" to appear in the LV catalog?
https://www.castingcall.club/m/VoiceNB17 would be the best personal URL link, although it's not my own website.
Here's my contribution, David:

...with a length of 1:18. Thanks a lot,
Garth

I've never PL'd before, but your recording sounds A-OK to me! I hesitated a bit when I heard you pronounce "findeth" as [ˈfaɪn.dəθ] rather than [ˈfɪn.dəθ], as I've always heard it, but after a quick Google search, I see that's an acceptable pronunciation as wellaradlaw wrote: ↑May 15th, 2020, 6:56 pm Herr's my reading, could someone please PL?
