Section 15:
2:14 - "thus Laplace was made minister" - Do you think, since this is a French name, it would be pronounced more like, "Lah PLAHS" (like "applause" with an L at the start, and a softer S sound at the end)?
(also at 2:25 and 2:38)
If you're OK with it this way, I am too, but thought I'd ask.

Haha, you know, there are SO many different languages and pronunciations, I totally spaced and didn’t check the pronunciation on this one - silly me. I should have picked up on the cues. Smiles got me again. I’ll fix tomorrow!TriciaG wrote: ↑May 8th, 2020, 4:16 pm Section 15:

Edited and ready to go for spot PL!

This wraps up my WORK sections with a LACE bow!
But in seriousness, thanks for letting me be a part of the work - taught me a lot and I learned some things too that you don't get from doing shorter, less serious works.

Ah - there's the enchanted flute.
PL OK. Volume is just on the cusp of being too low, though, so watch your volume on the next one.

I am sorry about the volume. Next time I will ensure the volume is at a better level, promise.
Yes, the enchanted flute was not actually in my first recording, could not tell you just why though. Hmm... , so I did record it again. Section 8 is not there at all so I will most certainly get that one recorded in the days to come.
Thanks for the pl okay.

Great news!! I did find section 8 so now I will only have some minimal editing to do before posting. I will also ensure the volume is at a better level.adr6090 wrote: ↑May 10th, 2020, 8:01 pmI am sorry about the volume. Next time I will ensure the volume is at a better level, promise.

Hello Tricia,
The volume on this file is 88.1. I did mention that I would make it a better than on the cusp volume.
I do hope this passes pl though please do let me know if there are any adjustments for me to make.

Section 8:
0:19 - you said "Chapter 8, part 2d." Should be "Chapter 2d" (no 8 at all).
Gee - guess he's against Votes for Women.

Here is my corrected file.
I guess he thinks a woman's best place is in her home keeping her family happy, no need for her to vote.
Times past.
