Me too, and it's a real pleasure to read a book of this quality. Eliot's insights into character are so sharp that you really feel you're getting inside the person.

Genuinely inspiring.

Only 45 chapters to go. A pleasure to be savoured, at least for me.

For me as well. I'm surprised that GE's books haven't received more attention here. But then we don't have solos of most of Trollope's book either.

I've just perused the Trollope list in Librivox, and was astonished to learn that none of the six Palliser novels has been solo read. Maybe next year!

As am I. And public libraries rarely have audiobook versions of PD books (or sometimes even e-texts).
