COMPLETE: The Spirit of the Age; Or, Contemporary Portraits by William Hazlitt (1778 - 1830)-Leni
Thanks Garfield. I think Mr. Hazlitt was a keen observer of his times.

Hi Craig, and hello Bill:
Here's Section 19: James Sheridan Knowles.
Running Time: 3:13
And here's the link to the uploaded file: https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/spiritoftheage_19_hazlitt_128kb.mp3
The section on Wordsworth just may take time. But I'll try to wrap it up as soon as I can.
Always,
Garfield

Hello there:
I thought I'd write in with an update: I'm still working on Chapter 10. I am, say, around 10 paragraphs away from the finishing line. It'll take a bit of time. Fascinating stuff, this, really! The length of Hazlitt's sentences is rather eager to match that of Dicken's!
Always,
Garfield

Good morning -
I'm relatively new to this. I'm finishing up a piece for the SNF collection. I could tentatively claim "William Gifford", if no one else has picked it up yet. However, I wanted to ask if it's OK to ignore the "footnotes" in these. The reason I ask is because they're embedded smack dab in the middle of a lines of verse.

Welcome aboard JachinandBoaz
You can read William Godwin section 2 - you can read the footnotes at the end or find a convenient place to put them within the text

It looks like Bill is not interested or able to DPL. I sent him a PL with no response. Can you put this back on listeners wanted?

Hi,
I would like to listen Section 18 Elisa Crayon.
I would like to listen Section 18 Elisa Crayon.
Hi Meena
Welcome to Librivox. You certainly may listen to Section 18 Elisa Crayon
We use standard proof listening to this project.
- Do the intro and disclaimer match the instructions in the first post of the project thread?
-- Are there any long silences or pauses that ought to be edited out? If so, note the time.
-- Are there any repeats, or serious stumbles that ought to be edited out? If so, note the words and the time.
-- Is there excessive background noise, a constant hiss or buzz that detracts from the reading?
-- Did you need to turn your volume up unusually high to listen to the recording? (Or did you find the recording too loud?)
-- Are the correct closing words used at the end of the recording, as per the first post of the project thread?
-- Are there about 5 seconds of silence at the end of the file?
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Craig
By the way you might want to do a 1-Minute Test recording if you plan to record as well as listen.
