[COMPLETE] Sasha, by Aleksandr Kuprin - tg
I had a good day today, and I was able to finish the editing of my first recording on the project:

It's been a long time since my last project and I hope I haven't forgotten anything.

At the last moment, I decided not to read this section in my "talk like a pirate" voice.

Excellent. Glad to see you're feeling better, at least on the odd day. I'll have a listen as soon as I can manage.kwdavids wrote: ↑May 13th, 2020, 1:06 pm I had a good day today, and I was able to finish the editing of my first recording on the project:

I'm so sorry to have delayed in getting to this. My gosh, but this isn't a recording. It's a performance! Really wonderful!kwdavids wrote: ↑May 13th, 2020, 1:06 pm I had a good day today, and I was able to finish the editing of my first recording on the project:

There is only one technical issue to be resolved and that is to convert the file to a constant bit rate of 128kbps.
Again, wonderful!

I should add that it is best if you perform the one-minute test before beginning. It's not an audition but a check to see that your recording's technical specifications meet ours.
Please let me know if you need help with this.

Hahah! I forgot one more thing. How would you like to be known in the public catalog? You can use nearly any name, including your real name. And you could use maryOfRohan.

Hey! Thanks a lot!
I think I am going to use 'Scout of Rohan', since Scout is the reference to 'To kill a mockingbird' and Rohan is for the kingdom of the Middle-earth
Yes, all right - I will make a one-minute recording and send it ti you immediately

Your recording sounds great. You just need to increase the volume by 3 or 4dBs and, also, we require a constant bit rate of 128kbps.maryOfRohan wrote: ↑June 4th, 2020, 1:54 amI totally forgot to add: I am using Windows Audacity software, and an ACME-headphones microphonemaryOfRohan wrote: ↑June 4th, 2020, 1:52 amBy the way, here is my 1-min test:
